EBOO Ozone Therapy in Ferndale, WA| One Living Clinic

Is EBOO Therapy For You?

Clean blood. Calmer inflammation. A fresh start for a tired system.

When your body has been carrying too much for too long (toxins, infections, inflammation, stress), it can feel like nothing moves the needle anymore. EBOO is one of the most thorough ozone therapies available, and it can help give your body the reset it’s been asking for.

At One Living Clinic, we pair EBOO with photobiomodulation (healing light therapy) for a gentle, layered approach that is uniquely ours.

Before we dive into how EBOO works, let’s look at what “detox” really means.

What Does “Detox” Actually Mean?

Your liver and kidneys are your body’s main detox organs, with support from your gut, lungs, and skin. Together, they filter and clear waste around the clock. When any of these systems are overloaded or struggling, your body may need a little extra help. EBOO doesn’t take over their job. It works through a different pathway, explained below.

What Is EBOO?

EBOO stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. That’s a big name for a simple idea:

  1. A small amount of your blood is gently drawn from one arm.
  2. It flows through a sterile, closed system outside your body, where it passes through a special filter and is treated with a precise mix of medical-grade oxygen and ozone.
  3. The refreshed blood returns to your body through your other arm.

This happens continuously during your session, so a much larger volume of blood is treated than with other ozone methods like a standard ozone IV or 10-pass.

You may also hear EBOO called “ozone dialysis” or “blood filtration ozone therapy.”

How EBOO May Support Your Body

EBOO is designed to:

  • Filter inflammatory debris and waste products from the blood
  • Oxygenate the blood to support energy and circulation
  • Support immune balance, helping the body respond more clearly
  • Reduce the burden from microbes and toxins
  • Support detox without pushing your body too hard

EBOO is a powerful tool, but it is never a stand-alone fix. We use it as one piece of your personalized plan.

Our Approach: Why EBOO at One Living Is Different

We chose our equipment with great care

Not all EBOO systems and filters are the same. Dr. Summer Beattie, ND spent a great deal of time researching devices and filter options before choosing our equipment. She selected Stratos because she believes it offers the best balance of safety, comfort, and effectiveness for our patients.

We layer in photobiomodulation (PBM)

Photobiomodulation uses specific wavelengths of light to support your cells’ energy production (think of it as recharging the mitochondria, your cells’ batteries). We often combine PBM with EBOO [e.g., intravenous laser and/or external red-light therapy] to support circulation, cellular repair, and recovery.

We prepare your body first

Before EBOO, we look at the whole picture: your drainage pathways, nervous system, toxic load, and overall readiness. When your body is prepared, treatments tend to feel better and work better.

You’re in experienced hands

Every session is closely monitored by our clinical team.

Who May Benefit From EBOO?

EBOO may be a good fit if you are dealing with:

  • Ongoing fatigue, brain fog, or low energy
  • Mold or environmental toxin exposure
  • Lyme disease, co-infections, or chronic viral issues
  • Long-haul or post-viral symptoms
  • Autoimmune conditions or chronic inflammation
  • Circulation concerns
  • A healing plateau, where other protocols have stopped helping
  • A wish to support healthy aging and overall vitality

Who EBOO Is NOT For

Your safety comes first. EBOO may not be right for you, or may require extra review, if you have:

  • G6PD deficiency (we run a blood lab test for this before your first session)
  • If you weigh less than 100 pounds
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active bleeding, a bleeding disorder, or very low platelets
  • Severe anemia
  • Allergy or sensitivity to heparin, or a history of heparin-related reactions
  • Uncontrolled overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism)
  • Recent heart attack or stroke, or unstable heart disease
  • Very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • An uncontrolled seizure disorder
  • Very difficult vein access
  • Current use of blood thinners (this needs individual review)

Every patient is carefully screened, including a health history and labs, before we begin.

What to Expect During a Session

  • You’ll relax in a comfortable chair while a small IV is placed in each arm. (We do have ultra-sound guidance if needed)
  • Sessions usually last about 120 minutes.
  • Most people feel little to nothing during treatment. Many feel calm, clear, or lighter afterward.
  • You are monitored the whole time by one of our team members.
  • Photobiomodulation may be added during or around your session.
  • Our team will customize replenishing IV according to your unique needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is EBOO different from other ozone treatments?
EBOO treats a much larger amount of blood in one session and includes filtration, which other ozone methods do not.

Does it hurt?
Most people only feel the IV placement. The rest of the session is restful.

How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals and health history. Many people start with a series of [3 to 6] sessions spaced over several weeks. We’ll build a plan that fits you.

Can I do EBOO if I don’t tolerate ozone?                                                                                                                                              Yes we can oxygenate and use Photobiomodulation and still filter your blood which also may support immune and inflammatory responses while helping the body harmonize

Will I feel worse after?
Some people feel energized, and others feel ready for a nap. Because we prepare your body ahead of time, big “detox crashes” are uncommon.

How should I prepare?
Drink plenty of water the day before and day of your session and eat a good meal beforehand. We’ll send you full prep instructions.

Can I do EBOO with other treatments?
Yes. EBOO often works well alongside our other therapies. Your care team will sequence everything thoughtfully.
